How to Order Silk Pillowcases

Before reading the information below, please make sure you are looking for genuine silk pillowcases, not satin or vegan silk. Currently, many silk products on the market labeled as "vegan silk" are actually made from polyester or Tencel, not real silk. Please carefully review the their product pages, as they will provide clear material descriptions, but not obvious. For regular silk pillowcases, we offer a price list on our website, please review the pricing range first (Quantity & Price). Unless the quantity is very large, the price will not vary significantly. This is because we do not have high profit margins, so there is limited room for price reduction. The price can decrease with larger quantities because more units mean lower labor costs per unit.

Before placing an order, please confirm the quality of silk fabric you need: 19 / 22 / 25 / 30 Momme? If you have specific competitors in mind, you can reference their fabric choices. If you are selling on a particular platform, choose based on the platform’s product tier. Some platforms sell affordable items, while some only offer luxury products.

 

2) Confirm the Pillowcase Craftsmanship

The most common designs for silk pillowcases are Envelope Closure and Hidden Zipper Closure, which are the best-selling options. Other options include Oxford Silk Pillowcases (Flange), piping silk pillowcases, silk pillowcase with ties, silk pillowcase fitted style etc.

Our factory can customize various types of silk pillowcases. If you need a custom design, please provide an image or design file. The pillowcase craftsmanship affects both the fabric usage and production time (labor cost), which directly impacts the price.

 

3) Confirm the Silk Pillowcase Size

Each country has its own popular pillowcase sizes. Please choose the appropriate size based on your target market.

 

4) Custom Brand Labels or Embroidery

We support the customization of any type of brand label and embroidery. However, label machines have a minimum order requirement—at least 1 roll, with 1000 pieces per roll (bag). (We offer free storage services, meaning you can store labels with us for future orders.)

For embroidery, a professional embroidery machine has 50 stitching heads, so the minimum order for single-color embroidery is 50 pieces to achieve a good price. To meet customer needs, we currently allow as few as 20 pieces for single-color embroidery.

Silk fabric is lightweight, so we do not recommend creating complex logos, as the effect may not be ideal. For customers with small quantities, you can opt not to have custom brand labels and instead place brand stickers on the outer packaging. For larger orders, you can fully customize your labels with no limitations.

 

5) Color Selection

To make it more convenient for our customers, we offer regular stock fabric with a stock color sheet for easy selection.

For smaller orders, customers should choose colors from our stock color sheet. For larger orders meeting the customization requirements, you can request custom colors using a Pantone TPX color code or a color sample or choose a color from our stock color sheet.

 

6) Packaging

We offer free packaging and custom packaging services. Packaging not only enhances the product's appearance but also affects packaging and shipping costs. If the quantity is small, it can only be delivered by express delivery, and the express delivery fee is calculated based on the larger of volume and quantity. So if the order is small, we recommend using our free packaging. For larger orders that can be shipped by sea, packaging can be customized with no restrictions.

7) Silk Fabric Quality – Hand Feeling and Color

We use 6A-grade silk fabric - made of great 6A silk fiber - hypoallergenic, sustainability, eco-friendly and non-toxic. The hand feeling of the silk fabric can be adjusted to your needs: if you prefer a softer feel, we can make it softer; if you prefer a little bit firmer feel, we can adjust it accordingly. This is a matter of buyer preference, not fabric quality. Softer fabrics are generally less durable. For example, nails can easily snag softer fabrics, while firmer fabrics are more resistant to damage.

Our regular stock fabric is medium-soft, not easily prone to splitting, and meets most buyers' needs. If you have specific requirements for the texture, please order custom silk fabric while meet minimum order quantity.

There may be slight color differences between batches of silk fabric. If you understand textile materials, you will know that different batch have color difference. If to keep each order color consistency is a strict requirement for you, please order custom fabric to avoid color discrepancies.

Currently, for the same order and color, different products will not have color differences (exclude the ready for shipping products). Custom fabric orders ensure color consistency ( keep same color are same in different batch order).

 

8) Other Options

Special silk fabrics such as hyaluronic acid silk fabric or silver ion silk contain additives and are not in stock. These can be arranged for customization, but the minimum order quantity is very high. For smaller quantities, these should not be considered.

High-gloss silk fabric can also be customized with a high minimum order quantity. Other silk fabric like silk-cotton mix, silk stretch fabric, or jacquard silk can also be customized with MOQ.
