Momme is silk fabric quality grade, just like the thread count of cotton. A higher momme means a greater amount of silk yarn is used. Higher momme silk fabrics cost more silk yarn which means higher raw material cost, resulting in higher price of silk fabrics.

What is the significance of higher momme silk fabric?
Higher momme means durable and more luxurious, as more silk yarns makes the silk fabric thicker. Silk fabric is soft and smooth. There is a difference between a fabric that feels soft and luxurious and a fabric that feels heavy and luxurious, obviously different when you touch silk fabric.

Normally, in real silk bonnet market, 19 momme silk bonnet is the most widely used quality. There also have 16 momme silk bonnet, 22 momme silk bonnet, 25 momme silk bonnet, 30 momme silk bonnet, but very few.

4th - Confirm workmanship of silk bonnet

Different luxurious silk bonnet workmanship requests different minimum order requests (MOQ). Normally, custom silk bonnet with logo, there have below workmanship as options.

  • Custom brand label: No MOQ for silk night cap. Only need pay label cost.
  • Custom brand hang tag: No MOQ for silk night cap. Only need pay hang tag cost.
  • Embroidery logo: minimum 20 pieces per color per size at least. Recommend 50 pieces to make embroidery price competitive.
    (Embroidery silk bonnet request logo is simple. Complicated logo embroidery effects aren't enough good, the reason is silk fabric is thin.)
  • Custom hot print logo: MOQ 50pieces/pattern. Hot print are available for complicated logo, any colors. But after long time wash, there will have pattern drops.
  • Custom digital printing bonnet available, there requests MOQ.

5th - Confirm silk bonnets' package
